Easy sudoku for beginners
Easy puzzles start with 36–40 of the 81 digits filled in, so they go quickly and calmly. Every next digit can be found with simple scanning: either a cell has only one possible digit left, or a digit has only one possible place in a row, column or box.
This level is great if you are just learning the rules, for kids, and for a five-to-ten-minute warm-up. Want to think a bit more? Move on to medium sudoku.
Tip: start with the digits that already appear most often — they have the fewest free spots left.
